The interpretation for The Body project is how we look at the body without knowing the person’s identity.

Both nude and body parts are controversial subjects and an object of desire. However, in this project is presented artistically not sexually; in opposition to male gaze (where the work is created for the viewer’s visual pleasure). This work is about human’s body depicted in their domestic environments. Subject’s private parts are hidden so are their faces, as this is left for the viewers imagination. Besides, not knowing the subject’s identity makes the viewer engage with the photograph and ask more questions. I desired the viewer to use their imagination and by looking at my subject’s body parts and their body language be able to read their minds and see their emotions.
